The Auto Clinic & Transmissions is a locally owned automotive business, based out of Albuquerque, New Mexico. We started out with a small facility in 1954 and have since grown to become one of top auto repair centers around. 

Family Owned and Operated

The Auto Clinic was founded in 1954 as a brake shop and tune-up center, helping to keep vehicles performing well and running right. When a family member’s transmission went out, he began training and studying to repair the vehicle himself and brought that knowledge back to the shop to help others.

Renee and Jim took over the shop from family in 1989, and today focuses on staying up to date with automotive technologies and transparency with every job. No matter the task, our friendly and knowledge staff has the skills to ensure that your vehicle continues to run perfectly smooth.
